Black and White and Read All Over

The list of Amazon material I've purchased for kindle 2 [to prime the pump]:
  • Supersizing the Mind: Embodiment, Action, and Cognitive Extension, by Andy Clark
  • Overtime: A Tor.Com Original, by Charles Stross
  • The Black Swan: Second Edition: The Impact of the Highly Improbable: With a new section: "On Robustness and Fragility", by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
  • Young People, Ethics, and the New Digital Media: A Synthesis from the Good Play Project, by Carrie James
  • Confronting the Challenges of Participatory Culture: Media Education for the 21st Century, by Henry Jenkins
  • New Digital Media and Learning as an Emerging Area and "Worked Examples" as One Way Forward, by James Paul Gee
  • Living and Learning with New Media: Summary of Findings from the Digital Youth Project, by Ito, Mizuko, Horst, Heather A., Bittanti, Matteo, boyd, danah, Herr-Stephenson, Becky, Lange, Patricia G., Pascoe, C. J., Robinson, Laura
  • The Future of Learning Institutions in a Digital Age, by Cathy N. Davidson, David Theo Goldberg
  • Kindle User's Guide, 5th Ed, by amazon.com
I also downloaded a dozen or so classics from Project Gutenberg.  I discovered a Kindle 2 "hack" site that's insightful (many more out there, too).  And lastly, the Kindle for PC app I just downloaded.

Do you speak Dutch or Deutsch?  Who do you want for 3rd place in the World Cup - the Germans or a former Spanish settlement?  Don Quixote or his eponymously impossible windmills to raise the cherished trophy in final victory?
