A week for rumours, it appears.
According to sources close to the source, oil prospectors with portable gas-powered generators and wet/dry shop vacs are sweeping the swamps and beaches, getting barrels of oil they're selling to BP for cash. The prospectors are then turning around and buying gold in anticipation of the double-dip recession.
