Painted, Peeled and Peeling Siding

Awash in medical terminology, I look for apposition.

Do leukopenia and Lomotil go together?  Does study of "The Early Church" by W.H.C. Frend go better with watching a film starring W.C. Fields or studies of what equates to religious worship from one social era (and/or one society) to another?

Is violent ethnic unrest (example) an unending recurring activity that naturally rolls through our subcultures as a kind of reset button for local relations...before plurality and equal access become the norm?  Can we find a universally-applicable solution that bypasses the first and safely gets us to the second?  Revolutions never reward murder, rape and pillage - use the two-sword reeducation method to stop ethnic cleansing.

I don't get mad.  I don't get revenge.  I don't get even.  Rarely do I get angry.  Instead, I plot longterm trends that amenably meet most needs.

History stops for no one.  We know, behind the glitz and glamour, our so-called modern age is antiquated.  Old thought patterns will not change - our brains' singular and plural wiring is unchanged over short periods of time (one thousand years, give or take a few tens of thousands).

Because people are important to me, with their personally-acceptable versions of historical events they think/feel has contributed to their place in history, I look around and randomise all events and views, creating a filter that blurs everything into noise.

I'm listening and I hear pharmacists and bicycle messengers have more in common than metes the isles.

How do we hold ourselves accountable to the whole?

I lost the ticket for a ride on my train of thoughts.

We learn to live with one another, compete against each other, but in the moments when/where we choose to fight, must we also attack (I won't say "innocent" because it qualifies vaguely) uninvolved families/family members?

What was the apposite view I wanted to add to this?  Sleep deprivation presents its share of illusionarial blurring skews.  Dropping in and out of daydreams this afternoon...time to serve the self and take a nap.

Good to see the president's drawing new demographic attractions to the Gulf coast - out of tragedy we build startingly attractive architecture.

Someone asked why I haven't commented about a situation elsewhere - when facts are used to delineate or erase borders, then I'll share my information about the matter.  Otherwise, my involvement is purely opinionated.

Will thank more people in the next blog entry.  The wrong sort of visions are moving/swimming/raining across my line of sight.  I know when my fortunate moments present themselves in the offseason.
